All dressed up for book club

Here's some other cute photo's of Amelia before she attended her first book club meeting. The photos are a little dark since I try not to use the flash all the time.

New photo of Amelia playing in her bouncy-seat-thingy. She just loves it and laughs while she's in it, but all those photos come out blurry... here's one when she's still for a moment.

We got the house in Folsom and now were having some work done like removing tons of wallpaper, some 3 or 4 layers deep and other fun things like that. Here's a photo of my new fireplace. I think it's huge! It's not exactly my decorating taste, but were going to have it painted white to "help" it. The fireplace is free standing and goes all the way to the top to meet the vaulted ceiling... so that tons of that stone on all four sides. We won’t be moving in until the end of the month when we get all the rooms painted and the new carpet laid. Can't wait till we move!!!

Life Saver,,,

OMG, The Soundspa lullaby is a must have for new parents whose babies don't sleep like babies (that's a myth by the way). http://www.homedics.com/products/sensory/soundspas/soundspa-lullaby.html can be found at Walmart & Target stores in the Sacramento area. John and I love this. Amelia falls asleep to this and we do to. Once she moves out of our room I think I'm going to have to buy another one for my room :-). Also great for anyone who needs the sound of a fan, aka white noise to fall asleep. The rain setting works great for me.

Stay at home Mom

As you may already know, I'm now a stay at home mom. Not the career path I was thinking about when I racked up my student loans or all those long nights I spent in school while I worked during the day so I could eat, pay rent and drive my 96 ford contour (yes, I'm still driving it) to and from school. But my loving husband is allowing me to take this time to bond with our wonderful little girl who is the apple of my eye. I know I have the cutest baby there ever was, and all mom's feel the same. For the first 4 months I was on her schedule, but now I'm working hard on getting her on my schedule, something she's slowly taking too, but I know we will get there soon and I will finally get some sleep. Also, it looks like we might really be moving to folsom soon.
